EXHIBITION „THE COLORS OF THE MEDITERRANEAN“

The exhibition Colors of the Mediterranean was organized as part of the cultural program of the International Scientific Multidisciplinary Conference MIC – Vis 2024. In addition to its scientific sessions, the conference program sought to highlight creativity and cultural exchange by providing a space where students could present their artistic perspectives on the Mediterranean region.

The exhibition emerged from an international competition for the best student photography, which invited students from different countries and academic fields to capture the visual diversity, atmosphere, and identity of the Mediterranean. Through their photographs, participants explored a wide range of themes, coastal landscapes, urban life, cultural traditions, everyday moments, and the unique interplay of light and color that characterizes the Mediterranean environment.

The competition aimed not only to recognize photographic talent but also to encourage students to reflect on the Mediterranean as a shared cultural and natural space that connects different communities, histories, and ways of life.

Presented below are the photographs that received awards in the competition. These works were selected by the competition jury for their artistic quality, originality, and their ability to convey the distinctive spirit and colors of the Mediterranean.
